The real Mother Merrill provided the best training on the street. It was unparalleled and other firms sought out our well-trained employees. Mother Merrill became a great company. Not only because of the extensive training it provided for its employees, but because of the people that worked there and their family spirit."Mother Merrill" as she was called, guided us to do the right thing for the clients, instilling integrity, pride, work ethics, and the opportunity to succeed if you chose to.
A former CEO of our great company once said that "Mother Merrill" was dead and he reduced staffing by 25,000. He was sadly mistaken. The culture of Mother Merrill will not wither away.
